Derelyn Chua of Blacks RFC drew first blood at the opening game of the Victoria Bitter Women's National Rugby Championships XV League 2007. Bucks RFC's ladies XV side, who made an impressive debut in the local women's league, found their way through the Blacks defence late in the first half with Rebecca Gaughan converting Rania Burn's try. Blacks took advantage of the inexperienced Bucks outside backs and put in a few more tries to finish the game 41-7.
