8 November 2010Singapore will have a second bite at the cherry when they face Japan on 22 November in their opening game at the Asian Games 2010 in Guangzhou.
The republic is grouped with Japan, India and Asian 7s 2010 Runner Ups, Kazakhstan. The reigning Asian Champions, China, have been grouped with Hong Kong, Thailand, Uzbekistan and Korea. The Women's Rugby 7s will be played from November 21 to 23 together with the Men's Rugby 7s. The full competition schedule can be found here.
Singapore has retained its squad from the SCC 7s for the Asian Games.
