ARFU's inaugural Cabodia Women's 7s was tied to its Training Camp that allowed the teams from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Korea, Thailand and Singapore to train and learn together.
The training camp ended with the one-day 7s tournament at Cambodia's national stadium with the teams battling the raging Cambodian sun and their opponents in a 6 team round-robin match followed by the play-offs.
With the exception of Cambodia Select and Korea, the tournament looked to be dress rehersal of the upcoming 2007 SEA Games. Singapore came through the pool stages to qualify for the cup finals against Thailand and finished the tournament in second place.
